2011 Peugeot HX1 Concept

PEEUGEOT HX1 CONCEPT




Peugeot present the concept at Frankfurt HX1, a six-passenger crossover unconventional that may foreshadow the future flagship, the Lion.


As at every car show, manufacturers we reserve beautiful surprises. Peugeot also gives us a little taste by unveiling its concept HX1.

With lines inspired by the latest models sochaliens as the 508 , the HX1 comes with an aerodynamic unconventional and rather slender. With a length of 4.93 meters to 1.99 meters wide and 1.37 meters high, the HX1 gets a C x 0.28.


Another interesting, small spoilers assets located on the rear window optimize the aerodynamics of the vehicle by opening once the 100 km / h exceeded. The drawn-shaped rims also provide a turbine speed effect when the HX1 is in motion.


The passenger, an original 4 +2, is available with four doors with no B-pillar and antagonists that open semi-elytra. With electric drive, the driver can move up and down the HX1 smoothly while having while driving, the best possible position.

The interior is very carefully finished with fine materials like brushed metal, leather or fiber optics. Are also a few surprises await you at the center console with the appearance of a minibar and a coffee machine.




Under the hood we find the now famous Hybrid4 system seen on the 3008 and available soon on the new 508 RXH but in a more powerful version. The block HX1 Peugeot develops a total of 299 horses thanks to its two engines, a 4-cylinder diesel 2.2 of 204 hp and an electric motor of 95 horsepower.



Everything is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission while the plug-in technology with lithium consents to HX1 to 30 km without any CO 2 emissions. The average consumption of the car should work to be around 3.2 liters per 100 km.
