JEEP WRANGLER 2011 PRICES
The Jeep Wrangler and his brother, four-door Wrangler Unlimited is Jeeps top-selling models despite remaining virtually unchanged for years. Wrangler pure, unfiltered charm and off-road prowess are the reasons why it sells so well. For 2011, Jeep has addressed one of the biggest disappointments of the truck for the modernization of the interior. The new traps sharper picture and take cues from the new Grand Cherokee.
The overall design is the same, with exposed screw heads and a steal to handle passenger side, which now carries a "Jeep, since 1941," the plate, but the material has been completely modernized. The center console now has an awkward design softer, cleaner, with chrome rings and vents up to date climate control knobs. There is a new three-spoke steering wheel that incorporates audio and cruise controls and a renewed set of instruments. Soft touch materials appear in the center console (now locked) and redesigned armrest. Two interior colors are on offer, too, a welcome change from the monotonous setting plastic ornaments before Wranglers.
Additional features include a power of 110 volts, optional heated power mirrors, and Bluetooth phone connectivity and USB audio sound system. Jeep says it has added more sound insulation to keep the interior quieter. Improvements Cabin Wranglers cabin is much more attractive, although traditionalists may lament the dissolution of the resilient spirit of the Jeep.
Outside, shoppers can choose from five additional colors of paint: Detonator Yellow, Deep Cherry Red, Sahara Tan, Blue Cosmos, and bright white. The optional hardtop adjustment levels of the Sahara is body color for a more consistent appearance. That makes the two-door Wrangler, Dodge Nitro and as a model four-door Unlimited resemble a Mercedes G-class.
The vehicles are mechanically unchanged from 2010, with a 3. 8 liters V-6 engine and six-speed manual or four-speed automatic. Four wheel drive is standard on models equipped with almost unlimited automatic transmission. The 2011 Wranglers production began earlier this week, so it will be in showrooms shortly. The price has not been announced yet, but do not expect a drastic increase in the current label, which starts at $ 21,915 for a two-door model.
